Description

A delicious honey garlic chicken recipe, quick and easy to make!


Ingredients

  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lbs)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup pure honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch (for dredging)
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and pat dry.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and ground ginger to create the marinade.
  3. Toss the chicken in the marinade until well coated; let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Lightly coat each marinated piece in cornstarch.
  5. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and fry the chicken until golden brown (5-7 minutes per side).
  6. In a separate saucepan, simmer the reserved marinade until thickened (5-10 minutes) and drizzle over the cooked chicken before serving.
