Description

A fragrant syrup made with honey, water, and culinary lavender, perfect for sweetening beverages or drizzling over desserts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 340 g honey
  • 235 ml water
  • 3 tablespoons culinary lavender

Instructions

  1. Add the honey and water to a saucepan over medium heat. Heat the syrup, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove the saucepan from the heat, stir in the lavender, and let it cool and infuse for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Strain through a fine mesh sieve over a bowl to remove the lavender buds.
  4. Pour into a sanitized bottle or jar and store in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • For a stronger lavender flavor, let the syrup infuse for longer.
  • Store the syrup in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
