Description

A delightful cake made with glutinous rice flour, sugar, and coconut milk that is soft and slightly sweet.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups Glutinous Rice Flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Coconut Milk (or Whole Milk)
  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 cup Butter (or Oil)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 tbsp Sesame
  • 1 tbsp Citrus Zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter or oil thoroughly.
  3. Whisk the eggs and sugar in a large bowl until well combined and slightly frothy.
  4. Stir in the melted butter (or oil) followed by the coconut milk until smooth.
  5. Gradually add glutinous rice flour and baking powder to the mix.
  6. Pour the batter into your prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  7. Bake for about 40-45 minutes, or until lightly golden and firm to the touch.
  8. Cool slightly before slicing into squares or wedges.
