- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional for sweetness)
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional for added nutrition)
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
- Peel the bananas and slice them into smaller pieces.
- In a blender, add the banana slices, milk, Greek yogurt, and sweetener (if used).
- Include the ice cubes to achieve a refreshing cold smoothie.
- Cover the blender and blend on high speed until smooth, about 1-2 minutes.
- If you’re using chia seeds or vanilla extract, add them after blending and pulse for a few seconds to mix.
- If the smoothie is too thick, add a bit of more milk, and blend again.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more honey or syrup.
- Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve right away for the best flavor and texture.
