Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced against the grain
  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients: Slice the beef and chop the broccoli into bite-sized pieces. Mince the garlic and ginger finely.
  2. Create the sauce: In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger until well combined.
  3. Heat the pan: In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot.
  4. Cook the beef: Add sliced beef to the skillet in batches if necessary. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until browned but slightly underdone. Remove and set aside.
  5. Stir-fry broccoli: Add broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for about 2 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
  6. Combine everything: Return beef to the skillet with broccoli and pour in the prepared sauce. Stir-fry together for another minute until well coated and heated through. Serve immediately.
