- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced against the grain
- 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil (for cooking)
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients: Slice the beef and chop the broccoli into bite-sized pieces. Mince the garlic and ginger finely.
- Create the sauce: In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger until well combined.
- Heat the pan: In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot.
- Cook the beef: Add sliced beef to the skillet in batches if necessary. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until browned but slightly underdone. Remove and set aside.
- Stir-fry broccoli: Add broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for about 2 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
- Combine everything: Return beef to the skillet with broccoli and pour in the prepared sauce. Stir-fry together for another minute until well coated and heated through. Serve immediately.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
