Description

A delicious and creamy ground turkey pasta dish that is easy to prepare and perfect for a weeknight meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or shells)
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for cooking Olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add ground turkey to the pot, breaking it apart. Cook until browned, about 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle boil.
  5. Add pasta and cook until al dente, usually around 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Once the pasta is cooked, reduce heat and stir in milk and shredded cheese until well coated and cheese is melted.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir well and adjust seasoning if needed.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs or additional cheese if desired.
