- 2 cups granulated sugar

- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate frosting (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two round cake pans or line with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until combined.
- In another bowl, beat sugar and eggs until fluffy. Add milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla; mix until smooth.
- Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into wet mixture until fully blended; avoid overmixing.
- Divide batter between prepared pans and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks. Once cool, frost generously with chocolate frosting.
