Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (100g) chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup (100g) chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup (50g) melted butter
  • 1 cup (200g) beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon (5g) dried sage
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2g) dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2g) salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1g) black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, celery, and onion.
  3. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, beef broth, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the liquid mixture over the bread mixture and stir until evenly coated.
  5. Transfer to a greased baking dish and cover with foil.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.
