Delicious brownies made with ripe bananas and cocoa for a chocolatey treat!
Ingredients

- 4 large ripe bananas (mashed)
- 6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup peanut butter (divided, 3/4 cup in brownies and 1/4 cup for top of brownies)
- ½ to 1 cup dark chocolate chunks or chips
- 3 tablespoons agave syrup or maple syrup (optional if you want brownies sweeter)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease an 8-inch pan with non-stick cooking spray. Line the pan with parchment paper for easy removal, then spray with non-stick cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, mash up the 4 large ripe bananas.
- Add the 6 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder and ¾ cup of peanut butter to the mashed bananas. If desired, add the 3 tablespoons of agave syrup/maple syrup and mix until combined. Stir in the chocolate chunks or chips if desired.
- Transfer the brownie mixture to the prepared baking pan.
- Melt the ¼ cup of peanut butter in the microwave for 20 seconds until drippy, pour on top of the brownies, and swirl with a knife.
- Bake brownies for 25-30 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool, then slice into bars. Enjoy!

- These brownies have an extra chocolatey flavor from the dark chocolate chunks or chips.
