Description

Delicious no-bake chocolate oat cookies that are quick and easy to make.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 3 cups quick oats

Instructions

  1. Measure out oats, peanut butter, and vanilla into a mixing bowl. Don’t mix.
  2. Mix butter, sugar, milk, and cocoa together in a heavy saucepan and bring to a full boil. Allow to boil for one full minute (set a timer). Remove from heat.
  3. Quickly stir in the rolled oats, peanut butter, and vanilla.
  4. Drop by spoonfuls or cookie scoop onto cookie sheets lined with parchment paper or wax paper as quickly as possible.
  5. Cool 5-10 minutes.

  • For a chewy texture, don’t overcook the mixture.
