Description

Delicious roasted asparagus and mushrooms, seasoned to perfection.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb mushrooms, washed, dried, and cut in quarters
  • 1 lb asparagus, trimmed and cut in diagonal pieces 1-2 inches long
  • 2 T olive oil
  • 1 tsp Spike Seasoning (optional, but good)
  • fresh ground black pepper to taste
  • 12 T Everything Bagel Seasoning (use more or less to taste)
  • sea salt to taste for seasoning finished dish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400F/200C. Spray a baking sheet with non-stick spray or brush very lightly with olive oil.
  2. Rinse mushrooms with cold water.
  3. Place the mushrooms and asparagus on the baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with Spike Seasoning, Everything Bagel Seasoning, and black pepper.
  5. Bake for about 20 minutes. Start checking after 15 minutes for doneness.
  6. Sprinkle with a little sea salt before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, wash and prepare mushrooms and asparagus just before roasting.
