A delicious chewy rice cake made with glutinous rice flour.
Ingredients

- 2 cups Glutinous Rice Flour
- 1 cup Rice Flour
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 cups Water
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1 large Egg
- as needed Non-Stick Cooking Spray or Oil
Instructions
- Dissolve brown sugar in warm water, sift glutinous rice flour and rice flour in a bowl, mix in oil, and blend until smooth.
- Grease a baking container, pour the batter in, cover, and steam for 45 minutes to 1 hour until firm.
- Cool the cake at room temperature, then refrigerate overnight to firm up.
- Heat oil in a pan, dip each slice in beaten egg, and fry until golden and crispy.
Notes
- This cake can be served as a dessert or snack.
- For additional flavor, consider adding coconut milk.
- Ensure proper steaming to achieve the desired texture.
